Project Salvador aids the people of El Salvador in implementing their own vision of justice. We are involved in many projects which assist the Salvadoran people.

Mission

 

The mission of Project Salvador is to aid the people of El Salvador in implementing their own vision of justice. We express our solidarity and deepen our relationship with  El Salvador by creating awareness in the United Stated of the plight of the marginalized in Central America and by supporting grassroots community development through funding of projects in El Salvador and marketing of fair trade crafts in the United States.


Job Opportunity - Looking for a Program Manager

 

Part Time Position

The Program Manager is responsible for increasing the sales of artisan products throughout the United States for People of Hope Crafts, the crafts program of Project Salvador. Project Salvador is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the aid the people of El Salvador in implementing their own vision of justice. Project Salvador support grassroots community development through funding of projects, marketing of Fair Trade crafts, and creating awareness of the realities of El Salvador. People of Hope Crafts is a program that works with 12 artisan co-ops throughout El Salvador. For the majority of these co-ops we are the only market. The crafts are sold online to wholesale customers, and to individuals. Currently the majority of sales take place at various church and gift fair events in the metropolitan area.
